Nepal Welcomes 1 Million Tourists in 2023

In 2023, Nepal had a lot more tourists coming to visit – a whopping 10,14,876! That's a big jump from the 2022 number of 6,14,148.
In 2023, 3,19,936 tourists came from India, which is more than in 2019. Americans also showed up in big numbers – 100,357 of them, beating the count from 2019. Chinese visitors went up to 60,878 from the 2019 numbers.
The government's goal of getting one million tourists in 2023 was achieved, and they're hoping for even more in 2024 – aiming for two million.
