The capital city of Nepal is the Kathmandu city. It's in the Kathmandu valley and gets its name from the ancient Kashthamandap Temple. They drive on the left side of the road there.

Nepali is the official language, but Nepal is like a language melting pot. There are tons of other languages spoken because of the diverse cultures.

In Nepal, they use the Nepalese Rupees as their official currency. One Nepali Rupee can be divided into 100 paisa, and the Nepal Rastra Bank, which is like their central bank, takes care of issuing the money.

Talking about people, Nepal has around 30 million populations, according to the Government of Nepal.

 

Religions
