Weather in Nepal

 

Nepal has a cool mix of weather thanks to the Indian ocean and Himalayas. There are four main seasons: summer, winter, spring, and autumn.

 

Spring vibes go from March to May. It's perfect for high-altitude adventures because the temperature is just right, not too hot or too cold. Everything comes to life with flowers and greenery. 

 

The views of the mountains are crystal clear, and you can enjoy the beauty of the Himalayas without mist or fog. Daytime temperatures are around 22 degrees Celsius.

 

Autumn, from September to November, is another great time for trekking. The hills transform with trees losing their leaves, and the mountains are clear and bright. 

 

Lots of visitors come during this time, and the temperatures hover around 25 degrees Celsius during the day, dropping to about 10 degrees at night. Autumn is the best because it hardly rains, making it perfect for trekking in Nepal.

 

Summer, from June to August, isn't the best for trekking. Monsoon rains turn trails muddy, and thick clouds block the views. Low-altitude trekking is possible, but it's not the top choice.

 

Winter, from December to February, is cold, especially at night. High-altitude areas get snow, so it's better for low-altitude treks. However, paths and passes in the mountains might be blocked with heavy snow. 

 

Daytime temperatures are around 20 degrees Celsius, but nighttime can drop to zero degrees or below. So, it's not the best for high-altitude treks, but low-altitude trekking can still be fun.

Winter (December to February)

It gets super cold, sometimes below zero. There's a lot of snow, and it's tough for people who want to hike or climb.

 

Spring (March to May)

It warms up, and the snow starts melting. It's not too cold, and sometimes it rains a bit. This is a good time for hiking, and you can see the big peaks clearly.

 

Summer (June to August)

It rains a lot, making it hard to hike. The paths get slippery, and there's a danger of landslides.

 

Autumn (September to November)
